It is the goal of the IUA-UCF to ensure the future of our local Jewish community with a strong Israel in our hearts. Through our vital beneficiaries we are able to meet the challenges of these difficult times by securing, protecting and leading the community.
The IUA works to secure the Jewish future by addressing the greatest challenges of our People in every generation. The evolving needs and priorities of global Jewry and of Israel require us to grow and change to meet these challenges. Through Keren Hayesod in Israel our campaign is able to provide funding for priority projects such as portable bomb shelters for the citizens of Israel, support for Victims of Terror, help for Children at Risk and other vital projects.
The IUA also funds the important work of the SAZF and the Israel Centre to ensure that Zionist education and activities continue. The IUA also works closely with Partnership2gether and encourages one on one interaction between our community and Israel.
Security has become a priority and we need to be more vigilant than ever. Anti-Semitism, BDS activities and anti-Israel sentiment is on the rise and it has become imperative to deal with matters as they arise and to ensure that our community can continue to live with the dignity that it deserves.
The UCF ensures the well-being, physical safety and civil rights that we are entitled to by supporting the CSO, the SAJBD and SAUJS.
