Again, the silence of BDS, Media Review Network, Cosatu and Palestinian Solidarity groups is deafening

BDS, ever so vocal on Israel and Zionist issues, who claim to be a peaceful “humanitarian” organization are strangely muted in the face of the terrible xenophobic attacks currently witnessed in different parts of S. Africa just these past few days.
Where are the likes the Shannon Ebrahim’s, Mohamed Desai’s Prof. Fared Essack’s, Kwara Kekana’s Allan Kolski Horwitz’s, Janet Smith’s, Dr Firoz Osman’s of Media Review Network, of this world all so vociferous and highly condemnatory about everything that is Israel – why so silent in the light of the xenophobic and violence experience recently in S. Africa. Only a little over a year ago these “humanitarians” were castigating Israel for tackling her illegal immigrant problem by offering to re-patriot them back to their home countries by air with a stipend of EU1000.00 per person. It should be mentioned that no such violent and xenophobic attacks on one single emigrant or his place of business took place. It should also be mentioned that those illegal immigrants in Israel have been treated in a most humanitarian manner, and protected under the law, compared with those in Europe, the UK and US. – let’s not even mention S. Africa!
Again, the silence of BDS, Media Review Network, Cosatu and Palestinian Solidarity groups is deafening in the face of the vicious attacks on defenseless immigrants across the country these past few weeks. But be assured that if something of this nature were to have happened in Israel that would have stopped the press and made front page headlines
